About MHF
Established in 2008, the Hounslow Muslim Forum is an umbrella organisation comprising representatives from a variety of Islamic organisations and institutions based in Hounslow. We hope to make ourselves heard through open and honest dialogue, constructive engagement and an inclusive interfaith and communal agenda. The aims of the forum are:
  1. To address issues affecting Hounslow's Muslim community
  2. To act as a collective voice for Hounslow's Muslims
  3. To present the essence of Islam: faith, peace, humanity and social justice
  4. To publicise the activities and good work of member organisations to local media and community networks
  5. To represent the community's grass roots and present a broad spectrum of views
  6. To organise events and activities that address topical issues, promote interfaith dialogue and community cohesion
  7. To engage and work with public, civic and voluntary partners to make a positive impact and contribution towards the success and well-being of Hounslow Borough and all its residents
HMF seeks to act as focus group, promoting the interests of the Muslim Community of Hounslow, whilst celebrating and supporting Hounslow borough's strength in diversity.

It will aim to ensure that the needs of Muslims within Hounslow are relayed to the correct local and national civic representatives.
